Seriously--I'm trying REALLY hard to get back in the groove of things, and that includes blogging on a weekly basis!! This weekend was pretty relaxing--other than the fact that I have picked up EVERY saturday at the bank, so work has and will be consuming my Saturday's-but the weekend as a whole was relaxing!
After I got off work we headed to Marble Falls to get Gerald's haircut, and the ingredients for home made pizza on Saturday Night. When I say homemade I mean homemade with yeast and flour, the whole "homemade" shebang...It was an experience!! After we got home we...I..Watched the Lifetime Channel and Gerald enjoyed the much needed rain!!

Then at 7:30 we started the pizza making process, and of course it was a competition!! Gerald Vs Heather!
Our ingredients included: Salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, tomato paste, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, cheese, pepperoni, Onions, sugar, flour, yeast, shortening ..And the list goes on and on and on...

The dishes went on and on too!
We had to knead the dough forever!! Then it hand to be covered and left alone for 45 minutes!! That was torture for me; I kept wanting to look at it!!
While the dough for doing it's thing for 45 minutes...we started on our Pizza Sauce...
Then, when that was done we flattened, and "spun"our dough, into the perfect shape!
Added the pizza sauce and our desired toppings...Can you guess which one belongs to which person?? LOL

Then they baked for 20 more minutes..And by 10:00 they came out...And our judges made their decisions...

Gerald's Pizza was MUCH MUCH better looking than mine, but mine was MUCH MUCH better tasting than his...Mainly because he added triple of the crushed red pepper and made his EXTRA spicy!!

I agree get back to blogging, how will we ever know what is happening with you busy bees!
