Ink's Lake State Park 2009

Gerald, Kelsey and I loaded the truck up on Thursday night to leave by 6:30AM on Friday. We got there at about 7:30ish..and were already the 7th people in line!!! There was a retired couple that had camped out in the lobby to be sure that they got water front..

Welcome to Camp Cousins: Tent Site 242!!

Sid brought this flag along to "Claim our Turf"

Here are is our tent...

I think the final count on Ice Chests was twelve..that's almost an ice chest per person!!

After everyone was settle Our Camp Chef's [Jenn & Sid] made Shrimp Boil..It was sooo yummy!!

Me & My Love!!

After dinner on Friday Night we went with Gerald & Adolfo to do some "Fishy" things..

Here is some of Adolfo's Fishing Gear!!

This was about the only TRUE catch...

We got back and sat around our "Camp Fire" playing games, and talking...

Saturday we woke up early for some breakfast tacos...... and then took the trail..right near our camp site to the water..

This is the Devil's Water Hole.. Kelsey, Lawson, Sarah, and Jamie jumped off the platform cliff and Sid was brave enough to handle the "big Cliff" the rest off us were content enough to float in the H2O!!

Scenic Overlook...

Squirrel!!

Saturday evening while Jenn & Sid slaved in the kitchen making dinner we went and got our Vball on... I laughed so hard the entire time!!
Look at Claudia!!!

They were the better team!!

After Burgers & hot dogs we sat around our "camp fire" and watched a fierce game of Domino's!! And then had some classic "remember whens"... the stories got so loud & funny that we had some Ranger Danger and were told to be quiet because it was "Quiet Time"

Group Picture!!
We all went to our tents at about midnight on Saturday..Claudia, Jaime and I stayed up until about 2:30AM talking..and then we woke up at 8:30 to pack em up and head home.. We defiantly were sad to leave. Gerald, Kelsey and I stopped at the Blue Bonnet in Marble Falls and had a great lunch and then got a Yummy Coconut Cream Pie to go!!It was such a great trip and truly hope this becomes an annual one that begins to grow.. we missed all our cousins who couldn't make it!!
