Well, Yesterday I gave my official two weeks notice to Cattleman's. It was a difficult and especially scary decision.
I have chosen to enroll Full-time in the ACC LVN Program and could not be more excited! I look forward with open arms to the struggles, tears, frustrations and successes that the next sixteen months has in store for me.
I feel like some may not see this as a big deal, but to me it is probably one of the biggest deals yet! I have worked so hard to reach this level and am so proud of myself. I can honestly say that I didn't really see myself being able to get even this far (which I do plan on going further to get my RN). I don't know why but I just knew that something was going to get in the way or I would have to stop for some reason. But- here I am in the final days before Orientation.
Gerald has and will continue to be such a tremendous encourager and I don't think I would be where I am today without him. He has kept me focused and my heart eager. Thank you Wayne!!
I'm excited!! Here's a song I think is inspiring!!

Congrats Heather! I know whatever you do, you never give up, and you are going to do great. Yes, the road might be tough some days, and yes it might get hard, but anything worth anything never comes easy, that is what makes it such a blessing! We believe in you so much, we may not always tell you, but we do! Keep your head up (except when you are hitting the books) and remember you set the pace. Love you and we are so proud of you too!
ReplyDeleteYay for you Heather! You will definantly have days when you want to give up but I PROMISE the end result will be more than worth the hard work! Remember to study a little each day to keep the stress away ;)! Keep your goal in sight ALWAYS and remember that all those struggles, challenges and scary experiences are all the steps you must take to achieve that goal! If you dream it, believe it, then you can achieve it! I have no doubts you will be successful cuz'! Can't wait to see you graduate!!!!
