Beauty of Nature.

This past week Kelsey was here with us and I was busy cooking, and Gerald was busy doing homework, so I sent her out to the backyard to take pictures of our NEW Bluebonnets !! I am so in love with them, both the photos and the flowers!! I think they are super duper pretty. And Kelsey is certainly getting better at taking photos!!

Well, before she even made it out the door she got side tracked by this little cutie- Kerby! Seriously- I am amazed that he is still alive! We have had him since December of 2008. I will be the first to say that we haven't taken the best care of him, but he's still swimming!!

She made it out the door, and was out there for like an hour!! I really really love these flowers. I'm not real sure why I think they are so pretty. Maybe it's the excitement of watching something grow or maybe it's just because they are in my very own backyard!!

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things were created through him and for him." ~ Colossians 2:15-16

This is probably my favorite photo that she got. Simply because the beauty it portrays of New Life!!

These two are my next two favs! I like how you see our home in the background and the way the evening sunlight is hitting them!

The massiveness of the tree in this picture is gorgeous!! I can't wait until it has leaves!!

Of course our sweet Sealey (I don't know how her name should be spelt!) I also can't wait until our grass is all green!!!

P.S.- As I work on becoming closer to God's word it is my goal to have a scripture in every blog I write. I pray that every reader may contemplate His word!
