Beach Weekend...

Friday afternoon The Jernigan's were leaving for a "Girls Weekend in Port Aransas! I jumped in the car with them! Really- I had about five minutes to pack. I knew Kelsey was going but I didn't know I would also be heading out!! I'm so glad I went..IT WAS MY FIRST EVER BEACH TRIP!!

They were so nice to take me along. Now I want to go back!!

We stayed at Island Retreat..our room was probably like a football field and a half from the beach!

On Saturday we did lots of shopping at the little souvenir shops in Port Aransas, and hung out at the beach. We also went to the Water Street Art, Music and Surf Festival in Corpus Christi...

Then we came back to our room and back to the beach to take photos at dusk...


Then we cruised Port A looking for something to do. But we didn't find anything that suited all of us so we just went back to the room with every intention of going to the beach to have a fire and marsh mellows ....but.......we were to tired and wanted to go to bed!!

Today we woke up, and headed back to the beach for some more pictures...

I got lucky and was able to capture this photo!!

We watched Kayla get her belly button pierced!And had lunch here before heading home...

Really Missy was so super nice to take me along. It was so nice to have someone who knew the area to take me for my first time. It was great getting to spend the weekend and getting to know them even more!!
