Welcome Home.

First things first~ i've had this post in my "Drafts" since a week after we moved in but have been wanting to get a couple of more pictures- well I keep forgetting or putting it off so I am just posting without the "extra"!!!
If I do say so myself- We are pretty darn proud of ourselves. We,--more like Gerald ( I was at school!)- started moving on Friday morning and for the most part by Sunday morning we were completely done. I only bought a few new things and the rest of the decor was just moved around! Now on to the goods!!
The entry way. For this area the only new thing that was bought was the accent table..

Standing at the entry way you are greeted with our living room! Nothing in here is new :), we felt like ours fit perfectly. We would like an area rug to protect the hard wood floors and keep our feet warm. Although- we have bought two different ones but didn't like either. I think we are to partial to the prettiness of the HWF's!!

We have a built-in entertainment center, which at first I REALLY didn't like it, but it definatley has grown on me, especially because I love photos and this gives me a place to display them and other special things or "Clutter" as Gerald says!

The dining area is just off the Living Room. Nothing new in here either. A new dining room set is on my wish list. Gerald says I have to wait until I find a miraculous cheap deal! But- doesn't ours just look so tiny?!?

From there you walk into the kitchen. Again at first I wasn't crazy about these very countryfied cabinets but they surly have grown on me!!

Off the kitchen there is a bit of an "area" for the fridge and microwave and linen cabinet at the end of that is our bathroom..It's a bit small but the remodeling our landlord had done in there is so pretty!
The bathrrom seperates our two bedrooms..

My Shabby Chic Room. It didn't end up as Modern or white as the picture in my head but none the less I love it!!

My favorite part of this room is the pictures that decorate the built in bookshelf. I got some copies of photos that Grandma had they include : her grandparents, her parent's, an individual of Grandpa in his navy uniform, an individual she had done of herself casually and her wedding photo and then their wedding photo. I think these photos are so special full of heritage! To be honest I think that is my favorite area in the entire house!

Our Bedroom!

After walking back through the kitchen you come upon Our Office.. the photo doesn't show but there is another wall with another book case!

From the office down a couple of stairs is Our Den!! Love this area! We had to buy a couple of new things (the couch) but got some CRAZY good deals! Super proud of them! These pictures don't do the size of this room justice..

Out the back door of the den is our back yard, again this photo doesn't give the size just- from where I'm standing you walk down a sidewalk and to the left and theres another "lot" or to the right and there's another "lot" ...The yard looks pretty pitiful is this picture. But- now it's getting green and we have bluebonnets in it!! Also- we have INTENTIONS of planting a garden!!!

To complete the tour: Meet SeaLea... this is our landlord's dog but the golf course they moved to won't let them have him without a privacy fence. So in the mean time we are taking care of her. We don't mind at all... :) especially since Jimmy is buying her food!!
