So, I do realize that this post is way long overdue, and each "paragraph" could be it's own post, and if you make it through all these words about us then you are truly a trooper!! I'll try to catch you up at warp speed!
I started Level II, and it has already been so much more than Level I. I have two less "classroom" classes. I have started my clinical's at the hospital, where life is much more fast paced! AND FUN!!! The paperwork, or homework, is going to be out of this world!! Last semester our care plans were only due like once every three weeks. Now I have one due EVERY week. I will get used to it!
I've wanted to do this craft project for myself and a couple of friends. But everyone else liked them too! So, I've slowly started making them for the rest of my classmates. I will have to post some actual pictures another time!
I had my braces taken off. That was so super exciting for me!! I don't know what I was more excited about, the $150.00 more in my pocket or being metal free!! I've gotten use to the feeling on my teeth but at first it felt funny!
That same day, in January, Gerald got his truck inspected (it was due in November, we were that busy) and unexpectedly failed! But it was a minor fix. What was funny is that for the past 2 years it has passed with the same issue.
The OCC Examiners (translates to: the big bank guys) have been doing the yearly audits at the bank in RM. Although they don't bother Gerald much, they do bother the officers of the bank, which translates to Gerald having to do everything just right! He is very excited this is there last week at the bank!!
Gerald will start an Art class on Mondays in Fredericksburg, and a Biology "TV" class at home next week. So our lives are even going to get more hectic, we were talking about it and the only day we will really have together is going to be Tuesday because all the other days one or the other has commitments that keep us running wild!
Together we started the Love Dare, with the goal of finishing by Valentine's Day. I will be the first to admit that Gerald has done a much better job of reading them, carrying the dares out, and journaling nightly. I really do think that it has strengthened our relationship.
We also had our first mass that was especially meant for the RCIA class. It was a special moment and really brought home that our Faith Journey is a few more miles down the road. After mass Uncle Curt treated Aunt Rita, Tay, Gerald and I to breakfast at Andy's Diner. He kept saying "Now get whatever y'all want I'm buying. That buffet looks real good. Y'all should get the buffet" well we all end up ordering and he is the only one who DIDN'T get that really good buffet!! It was funny. Maybe one of those "had to be there moments". Anytime spent with Uncle Curt is sure to be full of laughs!
We bought bicycles with the goal of riding them nightly to get our mail and through the settlement. We were doing really good until it got rainy and cold! The rides are great because I feel like we are making progress of becoming healthier, but it also blocks time out for just us, with no TV, video game, facebook, cell phone, etc. interruptions. Just us!
We are getting excited for Valentine's day. We are staying true to this post from last year. We brainstormed a few inexpensive, simple dates we could go on together, and I'm excited to find out which one the Boss is going to "Surprise" me with. Of course as always I decorated for the holiday!!

Sweet Dollar Store finds. I had to buy them in DECEMBER, but if I didn't snatch them right away they would have been gone!!

A "smaller" candy dish for the "smaller" eating habits. But still with Gerald I feel like I have to fill the dish every five seconds!! But I am using candy left from our stockings!!
Last but DEFINITELY not least. As of February 20th our new address will be located on Avenue Q!! This deal really fell right into our hands when we were least expecting it and are so super excited for the memories coming our way!!! I will have details and pictures up as we move forward!!
